HISTORY 

Authors and Artists June of 2004 with 7 authors and 5 artists last year over 35 independent authors and artisans took part in the Chicago event. In past years the event has visited Milwaukee, WI and Detroit MI.  It will be held in November in Champaign IL and May 2009 in Detroit. Over 80 authors and artisans  have participated over the past four years including

The event, unlike larger book and art fairs, is a “boutique” event that stresses diversity and hand picks each participants. Authors and artisans each year must apply to be accepted to participate. Book Fair Panels focus on the creation of your product and the things needed to happen beyond the release.  Experts from every area including book stores, marketing, public relations and publishing will be featured.
